He was on JV Captain this year which meant that coach was taking a direct role in his training. Today it was a trust exercise. Coach took him on a drive out of town into the woods, once there he said strip which the jock did he was then given these shorts and trail shoes. The coach pointed north into the woods and said run. The jock looked at him with a question look and coach quickly snapped ”do you not trust me? Run in a straight line in that direction do not go around anything go over, under or through it, you will know when you get to where you need to go” So the jock did as he was told, which brings us to this photo snapped by Ryan for Coach. The jock was doing quite well, when he got to the camp he would only be one of two jocks to actually make it to the camp, Ryan was the first.
